I just went back through my blog and did some redactions, just to play it safe. There was a title I don’t want associated with my name because….
…I’m a finalist for Writers of the Future!!!!!
My story, along with seven others, goes to a few big shot pro writers to be judged for the three big prizes (including inclusion in the anthology).
Too psyched to type more. Woohoo!

Yes, my first finalist. I feel like an American Idol contestant.
It would be great if this one disqualified me from future contests, wouldn’t it. But you know as well as anyone, life will go on if I don’t place. My Q2 story just needs some waxing and it’s ready to go. I’ll wait for my results before sending it, though. No reason to make more work for Joni if I can avoid it.
Congrats! Use that story in your application for CW, if you decide to apply. I still have your e-mail and I’ll reply soon… just extraordinarily busy.
